Some big news... the iTunes trailer for the movie based on my book is now available at http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/independent/the-pirates-of-somalia/! The movie itself is premiering in 10 North American markets on 8 December and will also be available on iTunes the same day.
It's back to the original title of the book ("The Pirates of Somalia") after premiering at the Tribeca film festival in April under the title "Dabka" (Fire).
The exciting cast includes Evan Peters, Barkhad Abdi, Al Pacino, and Melanie Griffith.
This is fantastic news about the movie premiering and hitting iTunes simultaneously! The cast, especially Al Pacino, sounds incredible, and it's interesting they reverted to the original book title. I'm really looking forward to seeing how all those elements are chained together on screen. What a journey from book to film! 🎉
