Dabka premiere

On 27 April, Hungry Man Productions was kind enough to fly me to New York for the world premiere of Dabka, the movie based on my book The Pirates of Somalia, at the TriBeCa film festival.

I had a blast hanging out with many of the cast and crew who worked on the movie, including Evan Peters (who plays me!), Barkhad Abdi, and Bryan Buckley, the director, producer, and scriptwriter. Some photos below:
